Almost a year ago to the day, when I wrote When Heaven Feels Hopeless, a sweet friend had just lost her son in a tragic car accident. About two months ago, my nephew who had been struggling with a heart condition, passed away. Two weeks ago, my husband’s sister lost her beautiful daughter seemingly way before her time. And just past midnight, two days ago, lives and hearts were torn apart when loved ones were suddenly taken as tornadoes ripped through Nashville and the surrounding areas.
Heaven, at times, can feel beyond our reach and God can seem far away. It is my prayer that the hope expressed in When Heaven Feels Hopeless can be a lifeline to all who are facing the heart wrenching pain of loss.
